Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting healthcare providers by managing patient care activities and ensuring smooth clinical operations throughout the patient visit.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triage appropriately, and offer patients reassurance, clear instructions, and education.
• Ensure efficient healthcare delivery by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all patient interactions and billing information in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and admissions.
• Perform laboratory tests as prescribed, maintain lab logs, and support patient education efforts to ensure understanding of treatments and medication usage.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

This position offers a first shift schedule with 40 hours per week, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
