Job Summary: This role supports the needs of inpatients, outpatients, healthcare associates, and physicians by accurately and courteously collecting laboratory specimens and performing related lab duties with professionalism and competence.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy in specimen collection and processing.
• Properly identify patients and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Comply with all regulatory agency guidelines.
• Manage workload and monitor outstanding specimen reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain productivity standards.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program or relevant post-medical training is necessary.
• One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Work Shift: First shift with scheduled weekly hours totaling 37.5.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
