Job Summary: Deliver exceptional healthcare by supporting radiologic technologists in producing high-quality diagnostic images. This role involves assisting with radiographic procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist radiologic technologists during diagnostic imaging procedures, verifying patient clinical history aligns with the procedure and ensuring documentation is accurate for licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patients by providing clear instructions to achieve optimal imaging results, fostering cooperation, and reducing anxiety.
• Apply aseptic techniques when necessary and initiate basic life support if required.
• Maintain assigned work areas, report equipment issues promptly, and ensure cleanliness and supply restocking.
• Engage actively in departmental quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to established minimum standards and use sound judgment and medical skills to care for patients of varying ages and conditions.

Education and Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills are preferred.

Work Shift:

First shift, scheduled every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM).

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
