Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a setting that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. The position supports acute care departments including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, and specialty units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Make patient care assignments based on nurse expertise, patient acuity, and technical needs.

• Maintain a therapeutic environment by minimizing noise, supporting healthcare students, and fostering positive relationships.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications must be obtained and maintained.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse licensure as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift: Night shift (3rd shift), full-time, 36 hours per week.
