Job Summary: Support nursing practice and patient care delivery through a blend of direct care, communication, and clerical duties. This role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and quality service in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Fiscal Responsibility: Efficiently utilize supplies and equipment, complete assignments promptly, adhere to shift schedules, and support unit goals to reduce waste.
• Quality: Participate in documentation per unit standards, stay current with policy updates, problem-solve within scope, and suggest improvements to enhance unit flow and patient experience.
• Patient Satisfaction: Promote positive patient interactions through timely responses, professional conduct, purposeful rounding, and maintaining a quiet, respectful environment.
• Patient Safety: Practice safe patient mobilization, use two patient identifiers consistently, report unusual occurrences, and tailor care routines to individual needs while adhering to privacy policies.
• Professional Growth: Share knowledge with colleagues, demonstrate leadership, participate in councils, serve as a resource or preceptor, and pursue learning opportunities collaboratively.
• Customer Service: Engage patients and families with empathy, practice AIDET communication, foster teamwork, and provide holistic care to diverse populations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA license with 5+ years of experience accepted in lieu of diploma or GED.
• Basic BLS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Work Shift:

7:00am – 3:30pm, part-time, with flexible scheduling to meet staffing needs.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
