Job Summary: This part-time day position involves working 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts, including some weekend and holiday rotations, totaling 48 hours biweekly. The role supports nursing practice and care delivery through a blend of direct patient care, communication, and clerical duties. Part-time benefits are available.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Fiscal Responsibility: Efficient use of supplies and equipment, timely completion of assignments, adherence to shift schedules, and support of unit goals to reduce waste.
• Quality: Accurate documentation per unit standards, staying current with policy updates, problem-solving, multitasking within scope, and contributing ideas to improve unit flow and patient experience.
• Patient Satisfaction: Promote positive patient interactions, timely response to needs, professional use of personal devices, maintaining a quiet environment, and purposeful patient rounding.
• Patient Safety: Safe patient mobilization, fall prevention, use of two patient identifiers, event management for unusual occurrences, individualized care adjustments, and adherence to HIPAA and social media policies.
• Professional Growth: Share knowledge with colleagues, participate in orientation and cross-training, demonstrate leadership, serve as a resource and preceptor, identify learning needs, and engage in departmental goal development.
• Customer Service: Engage patients and families, maintain a professional environment, practice AIDET communication, foster teamwork, and provide holistic care to diverse populations.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic BLS certification required within three months of hire.

Work Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
