Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries via phone, providing reassurance, education, and appropriate triage.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation in medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications regarding test results.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.

Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.

Experience & Requirements: Previous clinical experience preferred. Ability to perform laboratory tests, assist with treatments, and maintain accurate medical records is essential. Strong communication skills and a warm, patient-centered approach are highly valued.
