Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as an ARRT-certified MRI Technologist, specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and related procedures to produce detailed sectional anatomic images.

Job Summary: Deliver high-quality imaging services by performing MRI scans, preparing patients, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Collaborate closely with licensed practitioners to verify clinical histories and assist during imaging processes. Maintain and operate contrast media administration and monitor patient responses. Evaluate image quality and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide guidance to students and healthcare professionals.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited School of Radiographic Technology is essential. Must hold or be working towards ARRT certification in Radiography and MRI.

Experience: Proven experience as a radiographer with a solid understanding of MRI procedures and cross-sectional anatomy is preferred. Computer proficiency is necessary.

Requirements: Must be certified by the relevant state authority and hold ARRT credentials (R.T.(R) and R.T.(MR)) either at hire or within two years. Competency in whole-body radiography and adherence to state licensure and certification laws are mandatory. Ability to perform venipunctures and basic life support is required.

This part-time role includes weekend shifts with potential on-call duties to provide technical support outside regular hours. The position emphasizes patient education, safety, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked work environment.
