Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols. The individual will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces, while properly handling waste and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in designated areas.
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and shared spaces thoroughly.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department needs.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.

Work Schedule: Part-time, 3:00pm – 11:00pm, rotating weekends and holidays, approximately 15 hours weekly.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
