Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring they are safe for use.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with regulations.
• Follow all infection prevention and safety policies diligently.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department needs.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.

Work Environment: This position operates primarily during the 4th shift in a healthcare facility located in the Midwest region of the United States.
