Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Certified Central Sterile Technician. This full-time day shift role (10:00am-6:30pm) involves ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by meticulously cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments, implants, metal goods, and equipment. You will be responsible for assembling and packaging instruments, maintaining accurate sterilization records, and supporting surgical and childbirth departments with case carts and resupply needs. The role requires adherence to strict safety protocols including Body Substance/Standard Precautions and isolation procedures. Occasional weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call duties are expected, with a response time of 45 minutes during one holiday call period annually.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience and Requirements: Preference given to candidates with CRCST certification and prior experience in sterilizing surgical or hospital equipment. Training and assistance with certification are available for motivated individuals. Familiarity with sterilization equipment such as HIVAC sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, ETO, and Sterrad systems is essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are critical for success in this role.
