Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in line with healthcare standards and infection control protocols. The associate will play a vital part in maintaining hygiene and safety across assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in designated spaces.
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and common areas thoroughly.
• Operate and care for cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department goals.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Work Schedule: Second shift, typically from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with availability required every other weekend and some holidays.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
