Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term patient care needs.
• Apply clinical expertise to assign patient care based on acuity and technical requirements, continuously enhancing skills through evidence-based practice.
• Deliver exceptional patient and visitor experiences by demonstrating respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and professionalism.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by adhering to safety protocols, reporting incidents, and promoting a culture of safety.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including certifications, advanced education, and leadership opportunities.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the regional nursing board.

This position offers a day shift schedule with every third weekend rotation, supporting a balanced work-life integration in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
