Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a well-established anesthesia team in the Midwest region of the United States. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalized anesthesia care in a community hospital setting, supporting a variety of cases including joint programs, robotics, endoscopy, pulmonary, and cath lab procedures.

As a valued member of the anesthesia team, you will conduct pre-operative patient visits, develop anesthesia care plans, and administer anesthesia with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes. The practice environment promotes autonomy within a collaborative team model alongside anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs.

Education and Experience

Applicants must have graduated from a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. Candidates should be insurable under a medical malpractice policy as required by regional regulations.

Licensure and Certifications

Current registered nurse licensure in the applicable state is required, along with compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Perform anesthesia-related procedures under anesthesiologist supervision
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and order necessary laboratory or diagnostic studies
• Administer various anesthesia techniques including epidural, caudal, nerve blocks, and sedation
• Manage cardiopulmonary resuscitation and invasive/noninvasive monitoring
• Provide post-anesthesia care and discharge instructions
