Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. The position involves shared leadership responsibilities within acute care settings including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, and specialty units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Apply current knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality patient care and make appropriate patient assignments based on acuity and expertise.

• Communicate clearly to manage patient and provider expectations, ensuring a positive care experience through patient rounding and timely responses.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift: Night shift (3rd shift), full-time, 36 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest region of the United States.
