Overview: Join a dedicated pediatric care team in a supportive clinical environment serving the Midwest region. This role involves assisting in the delivery of comprehensive healthcare and patient management, tailored to the dynamic needs of the practice.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Deliver patient care aligned with established standards and guidelines, including telephone triage and patient reassurance with clear, accurate education.
• Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by managing medical records, preparing patients for examinations, and obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, document findings, and ensure patient understanding of discharge instructions.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and testing.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of equipment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Program.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current nursing license valid in the state of Indiana.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
