Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal clinical signs to identify at-risk patients.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries via telephone, offering reassurance, education, and appropriate triage.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient symptoms to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand physician instructions and treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.
