Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal, vascular, and neurological conditions tailored to each patient's needs. This role involves educating patients, families, and community members on preventative care and rehabilitation techniques. You will serve as a vital link between patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and social services to ensure coordinated and compassionate physical therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality patient care using clinical expertise, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and patient/family education. Care spans all age groups from pediatric to geriatric.
2. Operate therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, and wound care devices.
3. Guide patients in the use of assistive devices, braces, orthotics, prosthetics, and exercise equipment.
4. Assist patients with mobility, strengthening exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, and activities of daily living.
5. Adapt therapy techniques for patients with cognitive or physical limitations.
6. Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
7. Engage in continuous quality improvement and peer review processes.
8. Foster excellent communication and customer service with patients, families, and colleagues.
9. Supervise aides, students, and volunteers.
10. Support departmental functions and contribute to staff education.

Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent bodies. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree is required. Continuing education relevant to clinical practice is encouraged.

Licensure and Certifications:
1. Must hold or be eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
2. CPR certification is mandatory.
