Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as an Infusion Scheduler specializing in oncology. This full-time day shift role involves coordinating chemotherapy, blood, iron, hydration, antibiotics, and other hematology/oncology infusions, alongside general infusion treatments. You will also manage front office duties such as patient check-in and phone communications.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preference is given to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Medical Assistants (MA).

Experience and Requirements: Candidates should have a foundational understanding of oncology management, chemotherapy regimens, hematologic care, laboratory and symptom management, insurance authorizations, and computer proficiency. Strong collaboration skills are essential as you will work closely with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and other providers to optimize patient infusion schedules. The role demands excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities: Efficiently schedule infusions and office visits to enhance productivity and patient experience. Maintain accurate and current infusion and lab schedules, ensure treatments are authorized before scheduling, and manage department supplies. Support leadership initiatives to improve infusion center capacity and quality of care. Provide exceptional customer service by fostering strong relationships with patients, staff, and providers, promoting a professional and quiet environment, and facilitating smooth patient flow.
