Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and swallowing therapy services to patients ranging from toddlers to geriatric adults. This role involves thorough assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress to ensure effective and timely care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders, including hearing screenings.
• Prepare detailed reports of evaluations with recommendations for treatment.
• Deliver direct speech and swallowing therapy under a physician’s care plan, documenting patient responses.
• Maintain accurate records including evaluations, care plans, and daily therapy notes.
• Collaborate with other services to coordinate therapy programs.
• Demonstrate therapy techniques to caregivers and evaluate their performance to ensure quality support.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
• Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Refer patients to appropriate community resources and therapy programs.
• Promote awareness of speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders through staff education and community outreach.
• Serve as a liaison with community agencies for follow-up and support.
• Apply clinical judgment and specialized skills tailored to patient age and diagnosis.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or a related field.
• Master’s degree (M.A., M.S., or M.A.T.) in Speech Language Pathology.

Experience:

• At least one year of clinical experience preferred; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are encouraged to apply.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current or in-progress state licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current or pursuing the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift.
