Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient calls, triaging effectively while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Monitor patients exhibiting abnormal symptoms, communicate findings to physicians, and document observations thoroughly.
• Support physicians with testing, treatment procedures, splint and dressing applications, and minor surgical preparations.
• Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary patient testing or admissions, and handle referrals as required.
• Assist with patient education, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and medication usage, and distribute educational materials appropriately.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the clinical team.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

Work Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Location: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
