Overview: We are seeking a dedicated full-time Radiology Technologist to join Immediate Care Centers serving the Midwest region. This role involves supporting physicians and advanced providers in delivering exceptional patient care for minor illnesses, injuries, and routine evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Registration & Discharge: Expertly manage patient registration and discharge processes using EMR systems such as Meditech and PACS. Verify insurance and identification, ensure accurate coding and billing, and communicate care plans effectively.
• Clinical Support: Prepare patients for examinations based on their presenting complaints, promptly notify providers of urgent cases, collect and document patient data, and assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures.
• Diagnostic Testing & Treatment: Perform diagnostic imaging following established protocols, maintain radiation safety standards, troubleshoot equipment, and document patient responses. Maintain proficiency in splinting, phlebotomy, urine drug screening, and EKG testing.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed, ensuring compliance with documentation and regulatory standards.
• Supply Management: Order and manage clinic supplies efficiently to maintain operational readiness.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Limited or Associate Degree Radiology Technologist program; Associate degree preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, procedural and diagnostic coding.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Basic Life Support certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• Tuberculin Screening Tester Certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• At least one year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine, orthopedics, or immediate care.

Licensure:

Must hold a valid Radiology Technologist license issued by the state health department.

This position offers varied shifts totaling 40 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
