Job Summary: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across healthcare facilities in the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical tasks with professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Utilize a seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. Tasks include cleaning patient rooms, dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen handling, bathroom and floor care, and supply replenishment. Conduct inspections and complete unscheduled duties as directed.
• Laundry and Pack Room: Manage linen processing by sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens according to policy. Maintain cleanliness and organization in linen areas, conduct inventories, and document usage. Inspect surgical linens for quality, perform necessary repairs, and pack components per case specifications.
• Equipment and Safety: Maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment, report needed repairs promptly, and demonstrate proper use of chemicals and tools. Adhere to safety, infection control, and emergency preparedness policies.
• Guest Relations and Teamwork: Exhibit courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions. Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate professionally, and support departmental goals.
• Compliance and Confidentiality: Uphold legal and regulatory standards by reporting concerns appropriately and protecting patient and staff privacy.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is a plus.

This position requires availability for the 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) on a PRN basis, including every other weekend and holiday coverage. The role is vital in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all healthcare community members in the region.
