Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse spectrum of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout examinations, articulating each procedure with clarity and empathy
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to produce impeccable diagnostic images
• Manage imaging equipment proficiently and report any technical issues expediently
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and organize patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay well-informed on advancements in ultrasound technology and best imaging practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A preference for candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
