What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using a combination of standardized assessments and nuanced clinical observation.
• Design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address each patient's communication, language, fluency, voice, swallowing, and cognitive needs — both immediate and long-term.
• Deliver focused, evidence-based one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to the unique profile of every person in your care.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team — including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and social workers — to ensure seamless, patient-centered care delivery.
• Provide meaningful education to patients and their families, equipping them with the tools and strategies to extend progress well beyond the clinic walls.
• Support inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, maintaining consistent continuity of care across the care continuum.
• Produce accurate, timely, and thorough documentation that meets all state, federal, and organizational compliance standards.
• Pursue continuing education and engage in peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of clinical best practices.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of or current enrollment in a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet holding ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Minnesota.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
