What You'll Be Doing

• Execute a broad range of clinical laboratory procedures spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
• Critically evaluate test results for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure proper preparation and handling of samples prior to analysis.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all procedures performed, and actively support the onboarding and training of incoming staff or student externs.
• Champion a safe, clean, and compliant lab environment by adhering to all accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health field is required. Equivalent education combined with ASCP or AMT certification preparation will also be considered.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within one year of hire date.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout the duration of employment.
