Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and meticulous reviews of patient histories.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions via analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work closely with surgeons in developing and implementing individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide vital intraoperative support, from preparing operating rooms to managing patient positioning and assisting with the surgical instruments.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound treatment, patient education, and discharge arrangements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience with clinical rotations that include a surgical focus is strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Must possess a current, unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Must be licensed (or eligible) to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state.
