Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date medical records.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient symptoms to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.
• Ensure patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and provide educational materials to support treatment and medication adherence.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education resources, sterilizing instruments, and keeping exam rooms clean and orderly according to protocols.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.

Education and Experience Required:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.

Work Shift:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, part-time, with flexible scheduling.
