Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in line with healthcare standards and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect thoroughly using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate and care for cleaning tools and supplies responsibly.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of both regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to fulfill department goals.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous experience in a related cleaning or support role is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
• Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Work Schedule: First shift, 8 AM to 4 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area.
