Job Summary: The storeroom clerk plays a vital role in supporting daily hospital operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment essential for patient care. This position ensures that supplies are accurately inventoried and readily available to various departments.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming supplies and equipment, verifying accuracy by comparing packing slips with physical counts.
• Prepare receiving notices and forward documentation to the Inventory Control Coordinator.
• Unpack shipments and organize items for storage or delivery.
• Maintain inventory by placing shipments appropriately and conducting physical counts of supply rooms.
• Inspect, pull, and deliver par-level items to designated departments.
• Fill supply orders accurately and deliver them to specified areas.
• Report any surpluses or shortages to the Inventory Control Coordinator promptly.
