Job Summary: This role is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of chemotherapy, blood, iron, hydration, antibiotics, and other hematology/oncology-related infusions, along with general infusion treatments. The position also includes front office duties such as patient check-in and phone management. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred.

Responsibilities:
Fiscal: Collaborate with oncology and pharmacy teams, labs, and other providers to efficiently schedule infusions and office visits. Ensure schedules optimize productivity and patient experience. Manage office supplies and maintain authorization processes.
Quality: Support leadership in enhancing infusion center capacity and delivering cost-effective care. Maintain knowledge of chemotherapy regimens and scheduling guidelines. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and multitasking within scope.
Patient Satisfaction: Promote a positive patient experience by providing timely responses, maintaining professionalism, and facilitating smooth patient flow. Communicate effectively with oncology and nurse navigation teams to minimize disruptions.
Patient Safety: Schedule and communicate care needs accurately, maintain up-to-date patient demographic and infusion information, and adhere to HIPAA and social media policies. Perform front office tasks including copayment collection.
Professional Growth: Share knowledge with colleagues, demonstrate leadership, identify learning opportunities, and participate in departmental goal development.
Customer Service: Build strong relationships with patients, staff, providers, and ancillary departments. Foster a respectful, collaborative, and empathetic environment. Be flexible with assignments and staffing needs.

Additional Responsibilities: Make clinical decisions regarding infusion schedules, chemotherapy regimens, lab requirements, and physical assessments. Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, and providers to optimize patient care. Maintain a professional attitude and demonstrate initiative and critical thinking. Requires understanding of oncology management, chemotherapy treatment plans, hematologic care, laboratory and symptom management, imaging, insurance authorizations, clerical work, and computer proficiency.

Work Shift: Day shift, full-time, 40 hours per week.

Location: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
