Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies that enable them to meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to advance patients’ motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their support networks on therapy methods to encourage sustained progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring adherence to patient restoration goals

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Pursuit of continuing education or additional certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
