Job Summary: Explore healthcare careers through a unique job shadowing experience designed for individuals interested in observing specific clinical departments or roles. This opportunity offers a one-time, unpaid observation to help you determine if a particular healthcare position aligns with your interests and goals.

Program Details: Participants will shadow healthcare providers or teams to gain firsthand insight into daily responsibilities and work environments. Scheduling is coordinated by a dedicated Volunteer Services team, who strive to match each individual with the most relevant and enriching experience possible.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 16 for standard shadowing; some roles require participants to be 18 or older.
• Observation-only participation; no hands-on involvement.
• Shadowing duration does not exceed 7 days.
• Submission of vaccine documentation and any additional paperwork as requested by the Volunteer Services coordinator.
• Applications must specify areas of interest and availability dates at least 3 weeks to a month in advance; incomplete or early-date applications will not be considered.

Additional Information: For those interested in the Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) pathway, direct contact with the relevant medical school is recommended for shadowing opportunities.
