Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients.
• Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits by maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints; observe and communicate abnormal findings to physicians and document accordingly.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed, ensuring all patient care areas and equipment are well-stocked, clean, and sterile.
• Distribute patient education materials and confirm patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the clinical environment.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

Work Shift: First shift, full-time (40 hours per week).
