Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting healthcare delivery and patient management with flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the practice.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines, respond to patient calls with appropriate triage, and offer reassurance and clear instructions.
2. Facilitate smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories, observe and report abnormal symptoms to physicians, and ensure patients understand discharge instructions. Document all patient interactions and billing information in electronic medical records.
3. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Manage sample medications and logs, coordinate patient testing and referrals, obtain consents for procedures and immunizations, and distribute educational materials. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as directed.
4. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

This position offers a first shift schedule with 40 hours per week, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
