Job Description: Participants will shadow healthcare providers or teams to better understand the responsibilities and environment of various clinical roles. Scheduling is coordinated by a dedicated Volunteer Services team, who strive to match applicants with the most relevant and enriching experiences available.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 for standard shadowing experiences; some roles require participants to be 18 or older.
• Observation-only participation; no hands-on involvement.
• Shadowing duration does not exceed 7 days.
• Submission of vaccine documentation and any additional paperwork as requested by the Volunteer Services coordinator.
• Applications must specify areas of interest and availability dates at least three weeks to one month in advance; early or vague applications will not be considered.

Applicants interested in the Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) pathway are encouraged to contact the relevant medical school directly for shadowing opportunities.

Work Shift: Scheduled as arranged.

Weekly Hours: Variable, based on scheduling.
