Job Summary: This role supports the needs of patients, staff, and medical professionals by efficiently performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include upkeep of electrical appliances, clinical and non-clinical equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and building automation systems to ensure optimal operation across healthcare facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain electrical appliances, outlets, wiring, and circuits up to 600 volts, including emergency power generator systems.
• Inspect, test, and replace lighting, power circuits, and electrical equipment using specialized instruments.
• Perform plumbing maintenance such as repairing ice machines, toilets, sinks, and minor pipe installations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and cooling towers.
• Monitor energy management systems to ensure proper HVAC function, including thermostats and airflow controls.
• Carry out light carpentry tasks such as door inspections, drywall patching, and installation of wall fixtures.
• Maintain commercial laundry and kitchen equipment, as well as water treatment and recovery systems.
• Respond to maintenance service calls, including on-call and weekend shifts.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and organized, and operate facility vehicles as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• Minimum of three years hands-on experience in industrial or commercial maintenance; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Completion of a trade school program or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, full-time, 40 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
