Job Summary: Ensure patient, physician, and team needs are met by expertly preparing, processing, screening, and reporting cytology, FNA, and histology specimens. Deliver accurate, timely, and courteous laboratory testing with professionalism and competence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high accuracy in specimen analysis and reporting.
• Perform quality control and routine maintenance to uphold laboratory standards.
• Comply with all regulatory agency guidelines and protocols.
• Manage workload efficiently, including processing reports and file maintenance.
• Address and resolve problems promptly.
• Maintain productivity and adapt to additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in cytology is required.

Licensure/Certifications: Must hold Cytologist certification from ASCP or an equivalent regulatory agency.

Work Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, PRN schedule.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
