In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms and common areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized. You will handle and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste following strict infection prevention and safety protocols. This position requires both independent work and collaboration with team members to meet department goals.

Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in a related cleaning or support services role is preferred, ideally 1-2 years.

Requirements: Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus. Commitment to following infection control policies and safety standards is essential. The role involves working a first shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotations.
