Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, triage appropriately, and offer reassurance and clear instructions.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, while accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies in patient care areas, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and functional.

Education and Experience:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.
