Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports the delivery of occupational health services, adapting daily duties to meet the evolving needs of the practice.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
• Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits by maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical records.
• Initiate patient contact, prepare patients for examinations, and collect vital signs including weight, age, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Observe and document abnormal patient signs and symptoms, communicate findings to physicians, and ensure patient comprehension of discharge instructions.
• Assist with testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications and logs, arranging necessary testing or admissions, and obtaining referrals.
• Support minor surgical preparations and physical exams, securing appropriate consents for invasive procedures or immunizations.
• Distribute educational materials and assist patients in understanding treatment plans and medication usage.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to changing responsibilities as needed.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
