Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in line with healthcare standards and infection control protocols. The individual will play a vital part in maintaining hygiene and safety across assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in designated spaces.
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and shared areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently to fulfill department goals.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

Work Schedule: Day shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week, including every other Saturday and rotating holidays.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area.
