Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Certified Central Sterile Technician. This full-time day shift role (10:00am-6:30pm) involves ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by meticulously cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments, implants, metal goods, and equipment. You will be responsible for assembling and packaging instruments, maintaining accurate sterilization records, and supporting surgical and childbirth departments with case carts and resupply needs.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience and Certification: Preference is given to candidates with CRCST certification and prior experience in sterilizing surgical or hospital equipment. However, training and assistance with certification are available for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities: Operate sterilization equipment such as HIVAC sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, ETO, and Sterrad systems safely and effectively. Maintain compliance with body substance precautions and isolation protocols. Be prepared for occasional weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call duties, including one holiday call per year with a 45-minute response time.
