General Summary
As a key front-line team member, you will greet patients, notify staff of arrivals, and inform patients about any delays. Your clerical duties include typing, entering charges, and maintaining accurate records promptly. You will also help keep the office environment professional and organized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and greet patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Inform appropriate personnel of patient arrivals and communicate any delays to patients.
- Perform clerical functions such as data entry, charge entry, and form completion accurately and timely.
- Maintain the office’s appearance and professional atmosphere.
- Engage in continuous professional development and demonstrate appropriate communication skills tailored to patient age groups.
- Participate actively in departmental quality improvement initiatives and quality control programs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
Previous office experience is preferred but not required.

Mental and Physical Requirements
This role requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods. The work environment can be stressful due to patient needs and situations. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, carrying or lifting up to 15 pounds, turning, pushing, pulling, and stooping. Ability to move throughout the department independently is necessary.
