As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule flexibility and punctuality while managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and team members, ensuring smooth coordination of imaging procedures.
• Provide compassionate personal care and safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Handle confidential information with integrity and comply with all regulatory and compliance standards.
• Participate actively in performance improvement initiatives to enhance departmental services.
• Keep patients and their families informed about exam progress and respond promptly to their needs.
• Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with departmental policies and physician orders, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Education

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.

Experience

At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications and Licenses

• Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry-eligible candidates who will attempt and pass the registry within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Mental and Physical Requirements

This role requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, and the ability to transport oneself throughout the department.
