Join a dedicated orthopedic surgery team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, RNFA, working closely with skilled surgeons in a hands-on, dynamic role. Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care in an orthopedic clinic setting approximately 2.5 days per week.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform procedures such as casting, splinting, suturing, and joint aspirations/injections.
• Manage new and follow-up patients collaboratively with the surgical team.

Operating Room Experience

• Serve as first assist in surgical procedures alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons about 2 days per week.
• Complete operative reports, progress notes, and post-operative orders accurately.
• Gain valuable hands-on surgical experience within a mentorship-focused setting.

Collaborative Practice

• Work closely with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver team-based care.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health promotion.
• Participate in staff education and training initiatives.
• Build lasting relationships with patients throughout their care journey.

Education & Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA).
• Current or eligible state licensure for practice and prescriptive authority.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized organizations.
