Join a dynamic healthcare organization serving a broad regional community in the Midwest as an Associate Director of Community Health & Equity. This leadership role supports the development and execution of health equity initiatives aimed at addressing the root causes of disparities through strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate training and guidance for staff on health equity topics.
- Collaborate with the Health Equity Steering Team to identify and prioritize community needs.
- Develop and implement community-wide strategies to address health inequities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations to advance policy and program goals.
- Contribute to annual program and strategic planning, monitoring progress toward goals.
- Support grant development and educational material design.
- Manage internal customer relations and proactively identify areas for service improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health, social work, psychology, sociology, communications, or a related field is required.
Experience: Minimum of three years in social work, care management, or project management is essential. Experience in community health outreach or rural health initiatives is preferred. Proven management experience in a similar field is necessary. Strong communication skills, project management capabilities, technical report preparation, and advanced computer proficiency are expected.
Certifications: No specific certifications or licenses are required.
Physical and Mental Requirements: The role demands considerable mental focus with frequent interruptions. Light lifting up to 15 lbs., standing, sitting, and walking are part of the daily routine.
Work Environment: Standard office setting with clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled conditions.
