Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region as an Administrative Inventory/Distribution Clerk. This role is essential for managing daily inventory, distribution, and receiving functions within the storeroom department. You will play a key part in ensuring supplies are accurately received, inspected, and distributed to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, inspect items for damage, and verify shipment accuracy and completeness.
• Prioritize urgent refrigerated packages for timely delivery.
• Monitor expiration and manufacture dates, rotating stock to maintain freshness.
• Enter inventory and purchase order data into the MMIS system and archive packing slips daily.
• Organize and shelve stock accurately, ensuring special orders are handled properly.
• Generate and organize pick lists for scheduled deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Remove outdated supplies and report to management promptly.
• Maintain detailed logs of incoming packages without purchase orders and outgoing shipments via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
• Keep storeroom shelves neat, aisles clear, and comply with safety standards including proper stock placement relative to sprinkler heads.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, and dusting.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience

At least one year of storeroom or warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position can be moderately stressful and requires sustained concentration. Physical demands include stooping, bending, and walking approximately 70% of the shift, with frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs and occasional team lifting of heavier items.

Working Conditions

Work environments include approximately 20% time in an air-conditioned office, 30% in an air-conditioned storeroom, and 50% on an outdoor dock exposed to varying weather conditions. Noise levels range from light office machinery to moderate truck and equipment sounds.
