Education

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program is required.

Experience

At least one year of experience as a mammography technologist is preferred.

Certification and Licensure

Candidates must be either a currently registered radiologic technologist (ARRT(R)) undergoing mammography training per MQSA guidelines with a commitment to pass the mammography registry when eligible, or a registered mammography technologist (ARRT(M)).

Mental and Physical Requirements

This position requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, and mobility throughout the department.

Working Conditions
