As an Advanced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will support physicians and mid-level providers by performing patient assessments, administering treatments, conducting testing, and delivering patient education. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a warm and supportive approach to patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to clinic policies ensuring patient safety, including infection prevention and safe patient handling.
- Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes as ordered.
- Assist providers during procedures, maintain sterile fields, and manage instrument trays.
- Support examinations within the scope of your license.
- Conduct phone triage and act as a liaison between patients and providers.
- Communicate test results to patients, answer questions, and assist with follow-up calls.
- Document patient complaints and visit details accurately.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs and measurements.
- Manage and update patient medication lists.
- Perform point-of-care lab testing and collect specimens as ordered.
- Educate patients on electronic health record tools and provide supportive teaching.
- Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Train new LPNs and medical assistants in clinic protocols.
- Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and reliability in attendance and performance.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program with completion of an approved IV therapy course.

Experience:
Previous nursing or healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Certification and License:
Current LPN license valid in the state of practice.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Mental and Physical Requirements:
Requires considerable mental focus and physical activity including lifting up to 35 lbs, frequent walking, standing, turning, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching.

Working Conditions:
Exposure to infectious diseases and occasional encounters with hostile individuals. Frequent contact with blood and bodily fluids. Minimal physical discomfort expected.
